A Kentucky man who killed an 87-year-old Ohio woman and stuffed her body in the trunk of her car has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole. A judge in Hamilton, Ohio, sentenced 57-year-old Daniel French of Berea, Kentucky, on Monday. The same jury that convicted him of aggravated murder had rejected the death penalty for him, recommending life in prison instead. French was convicted in the 2012 slaying of Barbara Howe.
